Tifani Triumph: Eden, Bethany, Andrew and Jonah

Elders, teenagers and babies.  That seems to be the flow these days.  Eden and Oliver are growing old, Bethany is having marriage saver babies, Joanne and Andrew are starting their family and Jonah is still a teen struggling in a grown up world.  Can this week bring them any balance?

Eden's House
Nicholas is a teen, Eden an elder and Oliver is coming up right behind her.  What will this week bring the happy household?

Oliver aged to elder not long after returning to the homestead.  He's such a stereotypical elder at that!  What is with those pants?
Meanwhile Nicholas is embracing all that is the teenage years; part time job, hitting on the girls, and finding the one that he thinks he want's to spend his life with.
He met Gretchen Jefferies and it was all down hill from there.  He had it bad, and apparently she reciprocated.  They were going steady before the day was out.  While Nicholas is falling in forever love he's also working has way up the job ladder.  He maxed out his military teen career the same night that Oliver finally achieved his lifetime want of Celebrity Chef.
Oliver's new lifetime want?  Woohoo 20 sims, yup not happening.  He's too old to even get near that and too married and in love with Eden to try!  Maybe next life buddy.

Bethany's House
Tabitha is past ready to be a teenager while Samantha is ready to grow up and learn her toddler skills.

Day One and it's birthdays.  Tabitha turned to teen, finally, that morning and later that evening Samantha negotiated her way into the toddler years.
And skilling it is.  Samantha breezed through her toddler skills with a little help from the whole family.  And you said having a save the marriage baby was a bad thing!
The rest of the week was fairly uneventful.  Bethany has already maxed her career while Troy struggles just staying focused enough to gain skills.  He had one minor promotion this week but still has a long way to go, and he's closing on elder like a freight train toward the depot. The last event of the week was yet another combo birthday.  Bethany crossed the line to elder while Samantha is going off to school next week.

Andrew's House
Joanne has her clothing back on and Natalie is ready to hit the books at school.

So apparently I had forgotten about a little surprise that Joanne popped on me not long after joining their household this week.
Yup, yet another Triumph baby on the way.  And no, that is not yet more evidence of sim's hoarding thank you very much!  Just a few days later baby Gregory made his appearance into the family.
Joanne, for the record it's too late to keep your knees together, won't stop things now.

Before long Andrew was promoted to Chief of Staff and maxed out the medical career as well as his Life Time Want.  I failed as the Almighty however and did not get the appropriate pictures.  Just imagine, if you will, the elation he felt.  It wasn't long, however, before baby Gregory wasn't a baby anymore.
He grew up kinda stinky and Daddy, who was holding him, was so drop dead tired since Gregory refused to grow up on time, that he sat him down and off to bed.  Joanne was able to pry herself out of bed to change him and tuck him into his crib.

Next week Gregory will grow up to child with full toddler skills in play.  However, before we leave for the week Andrew and Natalie have birthday's to celebrate as well.
Andrew has entered the golden years with his new lifetime want to celebrate his golden anniversary.  We'll discover Natalie's lifetime want once we return.

Jonah's House
Though still a teen, and having recently lost his Mom, Jonah is determined to establish himself as a worthy heir to the family home and future generations.  He still has dad to lean on and learn from, for now.  But not one moment is guaranteed where Grimmy is concerned.

It was mostly an uneventful week, mostly.  Samuel struggled to maintain enough friends to get his final promotion and max out career.  Come Thursday afternoon however it didn't matter any longer.  He was home alone, giving me an absolutely horrible angle as he faced the wall when Grimmy showed up uninvited.  Poor Jonah, still a teen and not even home to say goodbye.  However, Samuel is back where he belongs, with Gwen.
Poor Jonah, still a teen when he lost his only parent.
Jonah struggled with his hurt and anger over the next two days until his birthday arrived.  I can't begin to imagine how hard it must have been to feel like celebrating after what had just happened.
Well, that doesn't bode well does it?
It only makes sense that reaching adulthood as an orphan would require a visit from the Shrink.  Let's hope that somehow the Shrink is able to impart some self-help skills as he continues to navigate life. He's an orphaned adult, single with no prospects but he has inherited quite a home!

And just because I can...the nose that just keeps on giving!

When we return?  The college kids are back!

Tifani Triumph: Zachariah, Isabella, Issac and John

We are 2/3 through the Other Houses and slowly but surely changes are coming to all the houses.  Generations are rotating, sims living and dying and being born.  Just pixilated life happening before our eyes.

Zachariah's House
Merry and Shayla have entered the teenage years, Beth is soon to be off to school herself, and mom and dad are just getting by in a house full of girls.
LeShawn, what the heck have ya'll done?!?  You were done!  You have your heir!  Why do you hate me? LeShawn wanted a baby.  Zachariah wanted to try for a son.  They hate me.  That is all.

Meanwhile, while LeShawn is plotting my demise (though not miserably thank you very much) Beth was growing up to child.
She's a cute kid with a great personality.  She's content, happy, and easy to please.  She's going to make an amazing heir.  While Beth is settling into the idea of school and responsibility the new baby is ready to make an appearance.
Welcome baby number 4.  No more ya'lls ok?  No. More.  And with LeShawn and Zachariah days away from elder I think that problem is now solved.
Welcome baby Emma.  No boys for Zachariah.  Sorry toots!  It wasn't long before Emma was ready to take on the world of toddlerhood.  Skills galore!
Next time, LeShawn and Zachariah age to elder and Emma to child.  Oh the homework!

Isabella's House
Jason is growing older and Books and Brew is climbing the ranks to top ranked business. Camilla needs to make some major life decisions as well.  What will the week bring?

Overall it was a slow week at Isabella's house, though there were some huge developments during the lull.  Before we get too far wish Jason a Happy Birthday!
Jason makes such a dapper elder doesn't he?  And he's happy!  Overall just content with life.  He's got a few vacation days to take and then retirement.  It's time to focus on the business!  Both him and Isabella are taking turns going in and making things happen.  With a lot of time (hours!) and dedication Books and Brew is now a level 10 business.  It doesn't get any better than that.  However, due to an Almighty oversight, I haven't groomed an employee for management so there's that still to happen.  But Isabella and Jason couldn't be happier!  They are trying to decide now what their second business should be.  Any ideas?  Toss them at me already!
Level 10!
Issac's House
Stephen is doing well at college and Alexander may be joining him there soon.  There's still two teenagers in the house so no rest for Issac and Christy.  With the sneaking out issue they must be on their toes!

There's not a lot going on this week that is exciting, interesting or photo worthy.  Alexander decided that college may hold the key to chasing his dreams and without a lot of fanfare set out to join his brother at the university.
We will catch up with him and all the other current students later.  Later that week Issac maxed out his career in business, again without much fanfare as it's not his lifetime goal or anything.  That same day a chance card caused Andrea to be demoted.  She was pretty steamed about it at first but adjusted, and got her promotion back, pretty quickly.

Andrea is going to have to make some college decisions pretty quick once we return.  She's worried about leaving her aging parents all alone but at the same time knows that a good education will help to fuel her culinary dreams further as well.

John's House
John and Meadow are basking in their elder years, Skylar is off to college and Lark is dealing with the bane of every child...homework.  That and we need to get more pets a breedin' round the house!

John and Meadow decided to keep Kissee to attempt more puppies with Scout.  It's taking a good while for their relationship to develop but finally we are expecting puppies!  Meanwhile, Jake's time came and Grimmy showed up to escort him to the great beyond.
Yes, Jake needed a bath.  John was working on the pet bathing when this encounter happened.  Poor Suzi was just lost without her sidekick.

The only other happening of note is that Lark grew up to a teenager this week.
She's a popularity sim with a desire to become a celebrity chef.  And she seriously needs to reconsider her choice in clothing!

Until next time...

Tifani Triumph: Faith, Hope, Love and Lily

There's not much I can say.  People growing old, growing up, being born...and cats.  You know the drill.

Faith's House
Hannah is growing up while Joe and Faith are growing old.  Will Joe manage to meet his lifetime?  Will Hannah be able to find the love her parents have on her own?  The big questions that we probably won't answer this week.

Hannah has yet to land her dream job but that's OK she's still a teen.  Joe is progressing on his lifetime want to have 6 pets max careers and Faith has rolled through a few and now has the same want.  However, adopting from the service menu has some drawbacks.  Such as having now adopted two elder cats that can't get jobs.
Just a few of the cats roaming the house.  Six in all, of which only four are eligible to work.  That's OK, there's still time right?

It wasn't too much into the week however, before Joe hit that famed elder birthday.
What is it with the Elvis wannabes?  Though from this angle he still looks pretty sharp.  Faith thinks so too.
Don't ask me why they are chilling in the nursery, they are so beyond that.

There were two kitty deaths this week.  Ronroneo and Ariel.  Both were adopted as elders and weren't part of the family long.  However, I think to think that in the short time they had they were loved.
Though their passing was sad it did leave room in the household to allow two more pets in, which were work eligible.

Hope's House
Hope and Abhijeet are more wrapped up in their dating each other than their daughter.  But she seems to be doing pretty well on her own, without parental involvement.

Remember a few weeks back when Eliza was complaining about how her parents never wore clothes?  She wasn't exaggerating.  However, 50 Dream Dates is in the books.  See those flowers all the way around the back of the house?  50 Dates worth of flowers.  Oh yeah!  Perhaps they will put on clothing now?

Meanwhile Ms Cuddles managed her last promotion marking 1/3 of the way through for Eliza and her pet careers life time want.  And she's still a teenager at that!  A bit later in the week all the kittens grew up and got jobs.  Perhaps I didn't think this through?  That's a lot of pet skills to try to get accomplished with moody cats.  The house feels a bit overrun.

While kittens were growing into cats and the family was trying to figure out how to skill them Eliza grew up to an adult.
Again with the inappropriate dress for the weather!?!  Eliza is moving up her job, which honestly only keeps her pet needs afloat.  She's so focused on her cats that she's not even given thought to her own relationship.  Crazy Cat Lady anyone?

And speaking of crazy, apparently the Cuddles family needs to visit Jerry Springer or something.  Ms Cuddles had quite the showdown with one of her children.
Next week?  Eliza takes over the reigns.  Hopefully she can not think about cats long enough to consider her own future relationships, before Mom and Dad are gone forever.

Love's House
Oh, Love.  Love and Greg.  Love and Greg and Rachel and Teresa and Expecting.  Guess what this week is gonna be about?

Why yes this week is all about babies!  Meet Shelby.  The third and final child of Love and Greg.  They have just enough to send off to college now and fulfill those lifetime wants.  However, before we worry too much about Shelby, Teresa needs to get those toddler skills done.
Just a few days later it was Shelby and Teresa's birthdays.  Why yes an infant aged to toddler right on time.  And at the EXACT same time as her sister.
Shelby is such a cute little toddler, and with her sister now a child it's twice the homework meltdowns, twice the beds, twice the everything.  And a third on it's way up.  But before we count three stacks of homework let's get some toddler skills.
Now I know you are looking at me sideways.  Perhaps thinking that there's something wrong with your vision, or worse I'm a liar.  Well, yes it does appear as if Love is pregnant again in that picture of her with Shelby.  Well, yes she is pregnant.  But, before you call me a liar let me explain.  Greg begged for one more baby.  One more chance for a son.  He agreed male or female only one.  I mean, um he means, what if one of the girls chooses not to go to college.  Need a spare and all, bonus points if it's a boy.
She doesn't look all that miserable but I promise she is, I just missed the good misery pictures.  And apparently didn't take a picture of the baby either.  Can you blame me with all the other millions of monster's running around?  However, the baby was a cutie, looked just like a baby!  And before we leave for the week, celebrates a birthday.  On the same day as Shelby grew up to child as well.  Yes you can start counting three stacks of homework, but before long...four.
Yes, Greg did get his son.  Meet Marcus.  Though it was the last baby regardless as Love will age to elder when we return.

Lily's House
Ivy has passed away, Ava has aged to teen, Lily and Taylor are just plodding through life.  What's the week to bring?

As we settle into the week, Ivy had a birthday and aged to elder.
Even as an elder she only has swoon-worthy thoughts of Taylor.  However, age is no barrier when you have goals to meet.  And she's on the cusp of maxing out her career and meeting her lifetime want.
Which she totally pulled off!  Meanwhile, Ava is charting her own path.

I've already nixed Ava's lifetime want to have 50 1st Dates.  How can she settle down and have a cozy family if she spends her entire life dating different people?  She can't!  And as a Sims Hoarder that is completely unacceptable.  One afternoon she brought home a friend.
Corbin Charvat.  She thinks she might like him.  I most definitely don't like the socks with sandles look.  She says she doesn't have an opinion.  I'm thinking that she might need her brain examined.  Seriously?  Who looks at a guy wearing socks with sandles and thinks there might be a future there?  Perhaps a future in a retirement community of guys who have zero hope of getting a date or something.  I digress.
Apparently he thinks he may like her too.  If this is going to work for me he better make better clothing choices as an adult.  Just sayin'.

Saturday night, end of the week, and another birthday rolls around.
Not the way I'd want to spend Saturday night, getting old and all but Taylor didn't seem to mind.  Nor did Lily really.  He's pretty dapper isn't he?

Until next time, more houses, more sims, more stories....

Tifani Triumph: Science Years Part 3/Oceanography Years Part 1

Charles has a love interest, and with not much time left for Jeremiah it's important for him to focus on his future.  Jeremiah has meditating to look forward too, and not much else.  Until Grimmy comes to visit that is.

Charles has three days left to adult and a romance to try and solidify with Amber.  Not that it matters as (this is a total Almighty side of frustration) in Sims 2 once they reach adult the keep friend status but have to rekindle to romance.
She finally accepted his proposal to go steady.  Ah, young love.

Charles is counting the days until he's a 'grown up' and Jeremiah is marking the days to his final date this side of the grave.  The questions is...which will come first.  The answer is the exact same time.  While Charles is in the drive way growing up Jeremiah is in the living room meeting Grimmy.
Charles the Scientist in training who chooses to dress like a lumber jack.  Go figure.  Meanwhile in the house...

Jeremiah was the only child of Paul and Jill.  The only grandchild that Janabel took an interest in.  He was smitten by his Jana from day 1 and she helped mold him into the intelligent man he became.  He provided the opportunity for all sims to enjoy vacation days, retirement, and maternity leave.  Along with, of course, a political system to govern.  He fell in love with Felicia when they were still teens and spent his lifetime by her side.  Together they had 3 amazing children, two of which are the first to enjoy college for the first time since Tifani came home after getting her degree.  Charles has taken the reigns of the household and is ready to continue to secure the legacy for future generations.
Now that Charles is an adult, and the future of the family is firmly in his hands, he has little time to focus on mourning before ensuring his own part in the legacy...Amber.
The following day he invited her over, fell back in love, got engaged and married.  Mostly in the kitchen...of course.
Yes, yes you know what time it is.

Me:  Amber, got a moment?
Amber:  Hey Fizzy.  Sure?  Which talk exactly is this.
Me:  (Thank you Charles!) The career talk.  Look Amber, I'm gonna be honest with you.  The list is dwindling.  You really have a choice between Journalism or Oceanography.  Whatever you don't choose your heir will have too.  Then we can move to the next tier of careers.  Sorry, TMI I'm sure.
Amber:  *blinks* TMI?
Me:  Too Much Information.  Sorry.  Anyway, careers.  Here's the info on the two available for you.  Let me know which you choose.

You will suffer. Poseidon, The Odyssey
The fallout didn't just bury the land in toxic ash, it contaminated the local waterways. Whole populations of fish were poisoned. Marine life suffered in the ocean areas contaminated by the toxic flow. The hot waters disturbed weather patterns in even far off places. In the darkest depths of the deep, an old god's rage runneth over. The forgotten Poseidon unleashes his wrath upon the region, cursing the minds of the people. No one knows what they want or fear anymore.
Amber settled into her career fairly smoothly and achieved one promotion right away.  Charles has achieved a few promotions to and is sailing right along on his goal to master Science for all Simkind.

Until next time...

Tifani Triumph: Back to School Year 2

The first year of college was almost near disastrous.  They had a house, well a shell of a house.  For the most part they did well academically, all but Belle.  Apparently coming from such an amassed wealth as they have in the main house she wasn't OK with just 'getting by'.  However, I think knowing that her dad died disappointed in her academic probation did something to help her out.  She's pulled her act together...some.

Before we get too far ahead however, let's check in on the two newest college students.
The first adopted child post apocalyptic life is off to college!
Yup, he's definitely drunk the koolaide.  Perhaps a future in politics with the S.A.P.?

With the influx of scholarship money and a bit of inheritance money have helped the house come a bit further with comfort and needs in mind.  Don't get me wrong, there's still a LONG way to go but it's a start.

First semester down and it's all A's and B's for everyone.  And managing that in a house FULL of whiny needy college kids is a feat.  Even Belle pulled a B+ and managed to get herself off academic probation.  She's a semester behind but that's all in the wash now.
Second semester was just as hard, for me.  Have they eaten?  Potty needs?  Good gravy those stairs are a pain in the booty but no room to change it without changing the entire house layout.  I'm not in the mood for that and they don't have the money!  However, everyone managed to again make out with A's and B's and no academic probation to be seen.
When we return, upper class-men!  And probably another cousin or two will join the house.
