Gemini: The Crime Boss (Chapter 8)

Maker's Note: Due to new expansion packs—things became a little muddled in my mind. I'm not sure how to completely tell this story. If you didn't notice, in the last chapter I went back to a more informal and more personal way of writing. Quite simply, I don't have time to write an awesome story which has resulted in me not playing.   Though I still plan to TELL the story—it'll be more informal and more from my point of view instead of Glenna's. That's okay, right? Cause I have a bombshell to drop!  Also? I took such a long break that Glenna had the baby and I forgot to write the story. So...here's to introducing Cassie Willow.

Cassie was born during a season of change. Suddenly rain began to fall from the sky—something that Glenna has only heard of in history books.  It seems that genetic codes that had once been lost to the world were rediscovered. Why they disappeared in the first place was unknown and why they suddenly reappeared was just as puzzling.

In any event, the days began to change. Suddenly, the temperatures were not constant and one blustery autumn day, little Cassie grew into the cutest toddlers ever.

Monday rolled around and Ames begrudgingly turned his money over to Anarchist—determined more than ever to be done with this mess once and for all.

Remember me mentioning the sudden arrival of seasons? Boy, the kids were sure bummed out to realize that winter in New Genesis is just winter and never Winterfest. Apparently, there's supposed to be a festive day of frivolity but with no money and the complete collapse of the goverment—Anarchist has forbidden Father Winter (who was thought to be a myth) from visiting. Sorry kids...just another reason to work harder at overthrowing the bad guys!

The kids are so heartbroken that Winterfest day arrived and they didn't get to participate. Yet, it was a "holiday" so they were not allowed to go to school. Which meant that the kids stayed at home from school with five onions and two sage leaves to last between them for the entire day. I guess in some ways they did get a gift...they didn't die of starvation on Winterfest day.

Another Monday came and went—no promotions were made and both of the Willow children grew up without a birthday party. It isn't what Glenna wanted but without electricity or the ability to bake a cake, it's not as if they could have thrown a big party anyway. Not to mention, Anarchist is draining all of their funds.

I decided that this was the perfect opportunity for Glenna and Ames to have another baby. More children mean more family members to unlock restrictions and fight anarchist. It didn't take long and another bun was in the oven.

But...another week has come and gone and these two are still on working on seven and eight of ten in their career. They better get their promotions soon because their life is ticking away and Glenna still doesn't have all the answers as to what happened to her or why she spent the last 20 years in stasis!
