Life of Kessie: Can I Get A.......

Did you miss me? Because I missed you guys a LOT!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but before I get to the current day, I just want to blame my lovely creator for the long absence

CN: Really, Kessie? 

YES!!! 

CN: Okay, I'm sorry everyone. I know it has been several months since I posted an update. Now, can we continue your lovefest, or are we going to have a typical Kessie dramafest?

I am not full of drama, human?

CN: Just get on with the story already, before you have another mood swing.

HEY! No spoiling! Any way...... As you can see, Pierce and I are going strong. He is an awesome boyfriend that I thought I would never have again after Connor. We make an awesome couple, don't ya think?

Pierce and Chaxeau are going great! Every week, we're in my kitchen after work trying new recipes to bring the restaurant up another notch. As painful as it was, I had to quit the bistro and I am now co-owner and a chef at Chaxeau. Life is definitely great right now, as I now have time to finally write my cookbook!

This particular day was the best day I've ever had. I managed to wake up earlier than usual - which is surprising for a day off.

He surprised me with an awesome meal and decided to take me out on a very nice date. He wouldn't tell me where, or why. All I know, was that this was the best lobster I've ever had - and I can make a pretty awesome lobster. 

At this point, I knew why he kept everything a secret. He PROPOSED!!!!! Right in the middle of Sunset Valley Park, where we grew up. I didn't know what to say, or what to do. I did the only thing that I could do....

I said YES! I will admit that I love Pierce Decheneaux, and also fell in love with him. I didn't know I could be happy with someone who was my rival growing up. It just seems right, ya know?

Life of Kessie: Inevitable

Hi, everyone! I am finally back after a long and very busy work schedule. The bistro is driving me nuts! Every day for the past three months, I have been there working 12 hours, coming home and writing my cookbook, and helping Pierce with his restaurant. So this right here, is my much-needed break. I'm actually getting great at this painting thing. Hopefully, I can sell this to the art gallery for some extra cash.

While I was painting, Pierce decided to pay me a visit. It was cool to see Dechie, especially since it's been a few weeks. We didn't talk about the "date" much since we went on it - so he decided to talk to me about it now. 

We watched the stars, since everyone was on Comet Watch. I guess you can consider this a second "date". He finally decided to talk about it. He spoke about how fun it was, and how he was looking forward to going out again. I honestly didn't think anything of it, only two friends hanging out. 

Pierce Decheneaux dropped a serious bomb on me. Why, Dechie? WHYYYYY!? He confessed his feelings for me. Really? Now? He spilled it all - how he always liked me, even when we were rivals. How he started really liking me in college and didn't care too much for me being in a relationship with Connor. How he wanted to make me happy. I will admit, he really sounded sincere - but I couldn't. It's not that I don't like Pierce.....but it's PIERCE! Okay, so he is rather hot, can dance, and we have a lot of things in common. However....

CN: OH NO YOU DON'T!!!

What, Human?

CN: You will NOT do this to Pierce. Going one better, you will NOT do this to yourself. 

What are you talking about?

CN: Kessie? Seriously? He likes you. We all can see that he likes you. Oh, and you know full well that you like him too. So, how about we stop with this nonsense and just be with him already! He is not Connor. You two are great for each other, so how about you give the man a chance? 

What if I get hurt again?

CN: You won't. 

How do you know?

CN: YOU WON'T! Trust me, you will not be hurt again. He digs you and to be honest, the both of you have nothing to gain from this relationship but love. You and I both know that you want to kiss him, so go for it!  Do I have to sing "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid?

Noooo! 

CN: Pierce?

Yup?

CN: Go for it...NOW! 

What? Um....he kissed me! I am kissing Pierce Decheneaux! I must say, it feels great. We feel great. I know, I know - this was inevitable. From the beginning, everyone sensed the romantic tension between Pierce and I. Now, everyone (including us) will be happy. I am in shock and taking all of this in. Pierce and I? Dating? Sweet!  Now, I'm going to finish making out with this gorgeous man. Catch ya later :D

Life of Kessie: The "Date"

Hi, everyone. I know I should be getting ready for this "date" with Pierce, but I have cooking to do. Besides, I just left the bistro and I am starving. How can a person be hungry when they work in one of the top restaurants in Sunset Valley? It's easy when you're a bundle of nerves. Yes, I know it's only Pierce and I shouldn't be nervous. However, it's been a long time since I've been out with anyone other than just myself. May I not make a fool out of myself. If so, I'll blame it on Dechie. 

Pierce told me to meet him in the park by the ice skating rink. Sadly, he was running late due to some stoves not getting to Chaxeau on time. Either way, I'm by myself on ice. Can you say....help?

Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers <3 I was fumbling like an idiot, and this lovely woman saved me and helped me out a bit. I sort of had the hang of it. At least I can stand up and spin a little. 

Look who finally showed up? I wasn't too upset that he was late, but he wasn't too thrilled. At least we had the chance to skate on the ice before I froze to death. We decided to go back to my place to talk and warm up. 

...and dance! I forgot that he could actually dance. While it was only a few hours, we had a great time together....as friends.  We talked, and danced. We didn't bother talking about food, or our jobs. He spoke briefly about Melissa and I filled him in on the whole Connor fiasco. He even slipped in that I looked hot at Tiffany & Enrique's wedding. Oh jeez! I must say, I did look hot! Okay okay okay, he did too. 

At the end of the night, we hugged and he went to Trav's place to crash. He sent me a text that he had a great time and to thank me, and I thanked him as well. Hopefully we can get some work done in a few days since I am now on vacation from the bistro. It was a nice, friendly, harmless "date".  Well, it wasn't technically a date, but we had fun nonetheless.

Life of Kessie - Back to the Grind

 Hi, nice people! I am BACK!!! Yes, you're favorite sim is back, and I am dying to give you a recap. As you all have seen, my bestie Tiffany is now married to Enrique! I'm still a little mad that she told my middle name, but it's okay. Now that "Tiffrique" is now a permanent thing, back to my life - or lack thereof.

I've been spending my days alone, enjoying some much needed "Me" time. Playing pool is very relaxing, especially now that I only have one day off. It will all pay off in the end.......

BOOM! Guess who is the newest chef of Corsican Bistro? YAAAAASSS!! I can finally show my skills off to the world! Oh, and before I forget, I am finally going to start my cookbook. Everything is officially awesome! I worked really hard, and now, I can reap the benefits.

To celebrate my promotion, what did I do? I painted. I'm actually great at this, so why not? I was painting away until my phone began to ring. Who could it be at this hour? Tiffany is in China, Trav is on the road, Jamie is on maternity leave and Jeffery is on his honeymoon with Ashley. 

WHAT??? PIERCE DECHENEAUX?? He heard about my promotion through ChefTimes Magazine and wanted to congratulate me in person! That was pretty awesome of him to do. I asked him about Beacon Bay, his restaurant and how he and Melissa were going. In short, he is opening up another Chaxeau in Sunset Valley while his dad runs the one in Beacon Bay. As for Melissa? Apparently, they broke up because she wanted to get married and he didn't. It's pretty sad, I spoke to her a few times and found her to be great for him. He'll be in SV for a couple of weeks to hire staff and get Chaxeau running, and he asked me to help him. I sure can! However, he had one condition:

PD: Go on a date with me?

HUH?

PD: Yes. Me? You? Date? 

HUH?

PD: Kessie, it's obvious that we like each other.

We do?

PD: We do. It's also obvious that I wouldn't have came to you about my restaurant if I didn't admire you and respect your input.

Thank you?

PD: Okay, so maybe I'm shooting myself in the foot for asking you out this way, but I really like you, Kessie. If you say no, I understand, but I still need your help. 

Okay, Dechie. I'll help you. HOWEVER, this is not a date. It's just two friends going out and having a great time. Okay?

PD: So, I'll pick you up tomorrow then?

8:00, and don't be late! 

PD: I won't. 

So yeah, I'm going out with Pierce Decheneaux tomorrow. Great. 

CN: I KNEW IT! You like him!! YES!!! I was right, The Creator was right - I am planning the wedding as we speak! This is so awesome, y'all are finally getting together! :D

Shut it, Human! We are not "together". We're going out as friends. 

CN: Yeah, sure. "Friends" Like Ross and Rachel? Or, is it Chandler and Monica?

Life of Kessie - Tiffany & Enrique (FINALE!!!)

CN: Tiffany, thanks for helping me out the last few chapters. I'm digging your love story.

Really?

CN: Absolutely. You two are so cute together.

Thank yoooou! Hey, Human?

CN: Yup?

Since I'm about to post my happy ending, will Kessie ever find hers? I feel so bad for her.

CN: I'm gonna tell you like I told her....she's going to be okay, more or less. It's all up to her. 

Is she going back to Connor?

CN: You and I both know I can't answer that. 

You can't?

CN: Sorry, I can't. While I am the human creator, I can't control her every move. I'm quite sure she has her reasons for doing what she's doing. All we can do, is support her and love her for the person that she is. Whether it's Connor, or anyone else for that matter (No, I am not telling who it is!) Either way, she will be fine. So, you will have to wait like everyone else.

Okay, I understand. Back to my ending?

CN: YUP! Back to your ending, I'm getting a cavity reading all of this sweetness.

Kessie was nice enough to let us have an engagement party in her house. That was soooo sweet of her, especially since we reserved the park and it rained :(  I'm not going to give a play by play, I'm just going to share some photos. 

Trav dropped by for a little bit, since he had a big game for the Sim City Championship. PS - THEY WON!!!! He made it to our wedding right after the game instead of celebrating with his team. How sweeeeet? 

Enrique and I are officially MARRIED! The wedding in the park was amazing!!! Someone lost my camera, so these were all of the photos we had. We went back to Kessie's to give her our thanks for everything, and to say goodbye. We went to China for our honeymoon!

Kessie Jayne Pirci, (oops, no one knew that was her middle name? Well, now you dooooo!) I love you like the sister I never had. From the moment we met, I knew we were going to be great friends. You're beautiful, funny, considerate, smart, and a little overdramatic. That's what I love about you. 

You put aside your own issues and made my special day a reality. I thank you and I love you for life. I hope you will finally have your happy ending, as I did with Enrique. You deserve it. Oh, and thank you for making my wedding cake, you're an amazing chef!! 

No, we're not seeing things. Pierce flew in from Beacon Bay for the wedding, as he was the best man with Trav. These guys are indeed best friends, and I am so glad to be a part of their world. Enrique was the first of their crew to be married, I wonder who is next? I know Pierce is dating someone named Melissa, and Trav is still single. Kessie, perhaps? I guess we'll see.

Life of Kessie - Tiffany & Enrique (Part II)

I'm not going to bore everyone with the regulars of our lives. At this point, I was done with my residency and working in Sunset Valley, and Enrique moved in with me. Our relationship was going great, with the exception that we both have careers that required long hours. I moved up to being a pediatric surgeon and Enrique left the harmonic after he won a few Simmy awards and decided to produce full time for movies and musicians. At this present time, this is where Kessie figured out who I was dating and her and Enrique are good friends. (I think everyone read that part already, I'm filling in the gaps)  After all of this, we went on a very special date to the art gallery.

I did not see this coming. We had a great time at the movies, a wonderful dinner, and now...this! Enrique got down on one knee and proposed! He wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, and I with him. 

I am sooooo in love with him! I'm also glad that I wore this outfit, because....whoa! I can't wait for the wedding, which we planned as soon as possible. Yes, we both like to rush things and get them over with. Haha, this is going to be great!

Life of Kessie - Tiffany & Enrique (Part I)

CN: Hi, folks! I'm giving Kessie a break for a bit and giving Tiffany her shine for a few chapters. So, enjoy. 

Since you all know how we all met, I'll skip that part and get straight into how Enrique and I got together. I was in my last year of my residency, and I moved into an apartment building in Twinbrook. Enrique was already living there, so he was showing me around. At this point, he was already working for the Philharmonic and producing music for a few people. I will admit that I had a crush on him in college, but he was into the books and his boys (ahem - Trav and Pierce). Now that he was on his own, I got to know him. He was very sweet, and such the charmer. I knew Kessie didn't like them too much (I guess from them living in Sunset Valley) so I didn't want to betray Kessie by dating an arch enemy.

Months went by, and Enrique asked me out on a date. Of course, I accepted. I didn't tell Kessie because she was into Connor and living her own life, and I didn't want to make her gag because it was Enrique. Then again, I didn't care and wanted to date him any way. Of course, his guy friends laughed at him. He didn't care, which was really sweet of him.

The date itself was pretty sweet. We were outside since it was a beautiful night. I didn't know he had so many tattoos (I guess he's really an undercover bad boy). We enjoyed each other. The whole night, I was waiting for this good looking man to kiss me. but he didn't. I was determined to kiss this man before the night was over....

 ..and I did! He was shocked, like he saw a ghost. Yes, I can admit that I made the first move and I didn't care. He was taking waaaay too long! 

Yes, it was love at first sight...and first kiss. Our relationship moved very quickly, but it was amazing! Look at this guy, can you blame me? He admitted he liked me from the first day he met me and was glad that we finally made it official. 

So am I.

It does. Remember when she swore off dating and pretty much became a hermit? Well, after my story, you and everyone will see that....wait! I don't want to say too much.

It's about 5 chapters too early for that! Did you forget that you created me too? I mean sure, I was already in existence, but you gave me life....and a very hot boyfriend (thanks for that, by the way!) Besides, don't you want everyone to know that Kessie.....

CN: WHOA!!! 7 Chapters too early! Okay, you win! Three chapters, and that is it! Besides, I want to know how you and Enrique hooked up as well, because that was NOT my doing. 

And you will find that out, if you ever let me tell my story. Besides, Kessie is busy working so she can earn a promotion. Either use me as a filler story, or be stuck with no material for a while.

CN: I can always bypass you completely and skip right to Kessie's....

Oh, come ooooon. It's gonna be fuuuuun.

CN: Fine! Only because you're Kessie's best friend...and I actually know what happened in the end with you and...

Life of Kessie - Finding Purpose

It's been ten months since the fallout with Connor. Ten long, miserable months. I have not left my house other than to work, which I'm okay with, I have to be honest, y'all - I'm miserable! Connor is now with Fiona (undoubtedly cheating on her as well) and his career has taken a nosedive after the countless scandals. He has tried to call, even left flowers. I ignored them and returned every single gift to sender. On a plus side, Tiffany finally moved into her home and her residency is going fantastic! She has a great boyfriend, who I have yet to meet because I didn't want to be around. She refuses to tell me who he is, and wants me to see for myself.

In typical bestie fashion, Tiffany came over to snap me out of my self-imposed exile. She was sick and tired of me wallowing in my own self-pity and she was dragging me out of the house. I really love her - she always gives it to me straight. 

Karaoke time? Sure! We rocked the bar with out tunes, thought some were off key. It felt really good to leave the house with Tiffany, but I know she can't be there for me always. I'm just happy that she did this. 

She told me to wait at the bar while she was meeting her boyfriend outside. Finally, I get to meet this mystery person. I'm happy for her, but I'm still sad about my own predicament. When she brought him in, my jaw dropped! I was shocked and never thought in a million years that these two would actually be a couple......

Tiffany is in a relationship with Enrique Rodriguez!!!! Oh. Em. Gee! Is this why she didn't tell me? Because she's with a member of the Sunset Valley "You can't sit with us" Club? Apparently, they became an item after college. It's super sweet to see Tiffany and Enrique happy...together. We played catch up, telling me that Trav is now starting quarterback for the Sim City Rams, so he travels a lot. I also found out that Enrique is a music producer, which is awesome for him. He is usually on tour but he flew in for the week to see Tiff. He also gave me a heads up about Pierce, since he moved from Sunset Valley to start his own restaurant, which he named Chaxeau. I guess I did miss a lot because I didn't know Pierce moved to Beacon Bay. I guess avoiding everyone's calls came at a price. Life moved on, and I decided to stay still. I soon became a third wheel, so I went home while Tiff and Enrique spent quality time together.

Tonight was great and full of surprises. Of course Tiff and I had to take a photo together. I promised not to be a stranger and I should be hearing their wedding bells soon....I hope. Time for me to dust myself off, and get back to living my life!
