The first year of college was almost near disastrous. They had a house, well a shell of a house. For the most part they did well academically, all but Belle. Apparently coming from such an amassed wealth as they have in the main house she wasn't OK with just 'getting by'. However, I think knowing that her dad died disappointed in her academic probation did something to help her out. She's pulled her act together...some.
Before we get too far ahead however, let's check in on the two newest college students.
The first adopted child post apocalyptic life is off to college!
Yup, he's definitely drunk the koolaide. Perhaps a future in politics with the S.A.P.?
With the influx of scholarship money and a bit of inheritance money have helped the house come a bit further with comfort and needs in mind. Don't get me wrong, there's still a LONG way to go but it's a start.
First semester down and it's all A's and B's for everyone. And managing that in a house FULL of whiny needy college kids is a feat. Even Belle pulled a B+ and managed to get herself off academic probation. She's a semester behind but that's all in the wash now.
Second semester was just as hard, for me. Have they eaten? Potty needs? Good gravy those stairs are a pain in the booty but no room to change it without changing the entire house layout. I'm not in the mood for that and they don't have the money! However, everyone managed to again make out with A's and B's and no academic probation to be seen.
When we return, upper class-men! And probably another cousin or two will join the house.

Life of Kessie - Graduation & Beyond!
Thursday, February 9, 2017
Hi, everyone. I'm still reeling over the past few days. I finished finals, had an awesome food war with Dechie, and went to so many parties that I forgot to take pictures. Well, except one.
Tiffany Engles is my new bestie! She is so amazing and I know she's going to be an awesome doctor. Good luck in medical school, I'm so going to miss you. Hopefully you'll visit SV before your residency!
Well, would you take a look at these grades! We all ended up with A's! I'll take being the Valedictorian of the culinary program, while Pierce became the Salutatorian (Professor Donner still sucks - he gave him a A- on his final!) I'm not going to cry about it, I'm finally out of here!!! I now hold a Culinary Arts degree (with honors) from SimU!
Wow! Everyone was here for graduation. Seeing everyone's loved ones was awesome. Sadly, my parents are no longer around, but I know they were here in spirit. Connor couldn't make it either since he became a politician. I understand that his career is important, but he promised he would be here :( No matter, the show must go on!
It started to rain, and we were getting wet and nervous. This would be the time that I didn't wear my wig. Speaking of which, I ditched it since everyone loves my actual hair. It threw Pierce for a loop as well, seeing my hair a few shades darker than my signature Cranberry Craze. Well, time to graduate.
WE DID IT!!! We finally graduated and time to embark on our designated careers! I finally heard from Corsican Bistro, which surprised me. They offered me a position while I complete my training, which is awesome! So yup, I will be getting paid while I learn how to cook their dishes! I'm so excited. Pierce is happy to be working at Hogan's Diner.....since his father owns it! I should have known there was a reason why a person like him would work in a place like Hogan's. Look at his face when he dropped that bombshell......still arrogant as ever.
Tiffany wouldn't leave the Auditorium until Pierce and I grabbed a photo together. We were so happy to be done with SimU and go our separate ways, hence the huge smiles! Now, the fun is over. It's time to pack up my room and go back to Sunset Valley to my life. My life with a career and an awesome boyfriend in Connor, even though he didn't bother to come to my graduation! It's okay, I'm sure he'll make it up to me once I get home.
Yay ME!!

Life of Kessie - Food Wars!
Sunday, February 5, 2017
Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come! Finals are gone and it's time to PAR
TAY!!!!
Classes are over, the kegs are ready to go!!! Everyone is finally ready to say good-bye to this place, as am I. First things first........FOOD WARS!!!

As the party came to a close, I decided to break out the guitar and start playing. I guess I was okay, because I was too inebriated to remember. However, I wasn't booed either so hey! I'll take it. This college thing wasn't so bad after all. Now, on to graduation!
Until Next Time,
Kessie :)
TAY!!!!
Classes are over, the kegs are ready to go!!! Everyone is finally ready to say good-bye to this place, as am I. First things first........FOOD WARS!!!
As promised, Pierce and I both put up $500 to crown the top chef of SimU. We sort of get along now, after our little chat on our way back to campus. That will not stop our little rivalry, as we will find out once and for all - who's the better chef? He chose Cheese Risotto, while I went for my signature Firecracker Shrimp. Aoki, Tiffany, Ashley DeSorrento and Enrique were the judges. As for everyone else, they're getting to eat some of the best cuisine out of SimU.
Deschie is just chopping away, while I'm telling Paris Vanderbilt to stay away from the food! She kept taking things we needed. Yes, I threatened to chop off her fingers if she did it again.
And just like that, we were done! One full hour of sweating, seasoning and plating. Now, everyone gets to eat.....and vote.

I will admit that I was very nervous while everyone was eating. In typical form, Pierce complained that he forgot to add something (Honestly, it didn't need anything else - the Risotto was amazing!)
It was time for the Firecracker Shrimp. I spent the entire senior year perfecting this dish and made it mine! There wasn't a full plate in the house - maybe because a few of them were too buzzed. Either way, there had to be a winner. Sadly, the decision was split! Even with a tie breaker, no one could decide on a winner. I guess that's a good thing since the judges thought we were both talented and deserved to win. We both agreed and accepted the tie, while we donated the money to the culinary department for underprivileged students who can't afford their utensils.
After all of that sweating and cooking, Pierce and I stepped outside for a breather. We finally admitted that while our rivalry was necessary, it was stupid to carry on for this long. While we respect each other, the rivalry will now be a friendly one. He was accepted to an internship at Hogan's Diner, which he will start after graduation. I wasn't accepted to Hogans, but it's okay. I hope that I can find an apprenticeship soon. Perhaps I should send my portfolio to the Bistro. I'll figure that out later. Are we friends? I guess you can say that. He owed his graduation to me - according to him. I didn't do anything but help him find his way.
Thank you, Ashley!!! I needed this keg stand more than anyone could hope. (Don't drink and drive, kids! Oh, and please be of legal age.) I partied until I wouldn't party anymore. Being a college senior rocks!!!
Until Next Time,
Kessie :)

Life of Kessie - Finals Madness
Friday, February 3, 2017
Oh yeah, oh yeah! I'm awesome! Hi, guys! Guess who nailed their presentation? I did!!! Professor Hatch is my fave instructor, hands down! Thanks to Professor Donner and his insane final, Prof. Hatch was nice enough to make our presentations the final - so we can focus.
Anoki, Tiffany and I were eating while discussing the particulars of the day. I noticed that someone was conspicuously absent from the dorm: Pierce! Now, where did Deschie run off to at a time like this? A date? Trying to practice for our food battle? Nope, Tiffany said that he went home. HOME? Who goes home during finals week? Apparently, he was overwhelmed with Professor Donner and decided to drop out. While I could be as giddy as a cat in a yarn store, I can't let him throw away his future like this. Time to make a quick trip to Sunset Valley!
Okay, so there's a small part of me that feels bad for him. I risked a four-hour trip to bring him back to campus and take these finals. Did Ash give up on Gary? NO!
CN: Awww, you like him, don't you?
No, Creator. I don't like him, but I do have a newfound respect for him. He does work hard and if Finals Week sent him packing, I want to know why.
CN: Yup! Four hours and you show up on his doorstep in the middle of the night? You like him! You should really see Connor why you're here - if only for a second. You do remember Connor, your BOYFRIEND??
Shush, Human! Anyway, after a few hours of convincing him that after this exam, we will be graduates and Chefs! Besides, he didn't want me blogging about him and word gets out on Simbook. The way to this man's heart...is his ego. Back to school we go....after I see Connor, of course.
I so love this man! I managed to take off my wig before seeing him (Yes, the short hair is actually a wig.) as he hates it. I had to make it quick since Pierce was in the car. I asked Connor if he was coming to my graduation, and he wouldn't miss it for the world.
As predicted, the struggle was 100% REAL! Tiffany ran out of the room in complete hysteria, while Claude had to be pulled back in from trying to jump out of the window. Prof. Donner had the nerve to have food in the back for us...which was another part of the final! We had to taste a dish and name everything that's in said dish. I feel bad for anyone who ends up with this man next semester. We survived Finals Week!! Now, it's time to prepare for Food Wars!!!
TTYL,
Kessie :)

Life of Kessie - #ProfDonnerSucks
Wednesday, February 1, 2017
Words can not describe how much this sucks right now. I, Kessie J. Pirci will not stand for this torture any longer. There has to be laws against this......
Oh, what am I referring to? Here:
Professor Donner has to be from the fifth level of the abyss! There is no way he is human! How can this man throw us three months worth of work into one week, and EXPECT us to handle this during the beginning of Finals Week? Really, bro?

Here I am, stuck on 50 shades of stupid. He really expects us to know every single herb, and we will fail if we miss even one. Oh, and spelling counts. It would have been great if he didn't give us the list THREE DAYS before finals!! Well, I see that I have to prove him wrong and make my mark as a chef. Did I mention that there's a 25% chance of passing his class, and a slimmer chance of passing his final? I've seen students cry coming out of his lecture hall. Two people actually dropped out of the culinary program because of this man. (Um....if my creator would be so kind as to help me make a cheat sheet, that would be great!)
CREATOR NOTE: Sorry, Kessie. I'm known as the Creator of Hotties, not the Creator of Cheaters. You're on your own with this one. BTW, what happened with Connor Frio?
Ugh, whatever! Connor is fine, thank you. We had a great weekend and I can't wait to go home after finals. He's moving in with me and leaving his brother Jared with the house. Anyway, aren't we sidetracking here? Can we continue with my suffering?
CN: Very well, Kessie. Please, continue whining.
Thank you, and I am not whining....much. Professor Donner sucks! So, in typical Kessie fashion, I had to make a stand.
I definitely pointed out that it was unfair and unethical to spring this on us, especially when he didn't bother teaching this all semester. What was his response? "Deal with it or fail! Fail and you won't graduate and get kicked out of the program". Um....rude, much? So now, if I don't pass this class, I don't graduate. Me and my big mouth.
Enrique and I had a discussion about what we were going to do about Professor Donner. Sadly, he is tenured and nothing can be done with him. We also found out that cheating in his class is virtually impossible. By our frustrations, we have no choice but to suck it up and cram for the next three days. Enrique is instantly regretting taking this class because of Pierce begging him to (Bros have to stick together - he says.)
How am I going to pass this class? Until next time,
Kessie :(

Life of Kessie - Weekends are Awesome!
Sunday, January 29, 2017
Hi, guys. I finally took the time to work out! With all of these classes and food tastings, I must find the time to go to a gym. Besides, I have a free weekend coming up and I don't want to look crazy in the outfit I picked out.
Of course, I would study a little on the weekend, as Finals Week approaches. With professors like Professor Hatch and Professor Donner, you have to study. Professor Donner is the type to give you a pop quiz during a 7AM class - which he has! I can't squeak by that class again.
Enrique actually stopped me to ask about my issue with him and the rest of his crew. I was as honest as I possibly could - I told him everything. I thought that they were arrogant meatheads who thought they owned the world. However, while Enrique proved me wrong and showed me how people could change, Trav and Pierce did not. He also enlightened me on something that I never thought was possible. "The reason why you two are always at odds, is because you're both alike! Oh, and you didn't hear this from me.........he actually likes you! That's why he's always getting under your skin."
Wait.....what? HUH? Pierce Deschenaux? Likes ME? Yeah, right! That will never happen in a million years, and add a few more million on to that. Speaking of likes.....
I realized that I haven't spoken to Connor in days! Oh, and did I mention that we aren't even dating....sort of? Okay, so technically we are interested in each other and we did go out a few times. However, things went up in the air when I packed my bags to come here. His brother Jared was nice enough to take care of my house while I'm away, so I guess that's something. I decided to shoot him an instant message in Simbook before I went to the fair.
I took a trip to a fair on campus, and look who showed up to surprise me? CONNOR!!! I missed him so much! It was real sweet of him to pay me a visit and spend the whole day with me. He was actually doing an article on College Events, so he made his trip worthwhile.
I so totally love him for this. It was an epic day. The day I completely forgot about everything. Classes, food, and Pierce with his shenanigans. Yes, I didn't pay any mind to what Enrique said, because what I truly want was standing right in front of me. Anyone who would travel for hours to see his "girlfriend" is a keeper. Yes, we made it official at the fair! Swoon!!!
Until next time,
Kessie (Frio soon?) :)

Tifani Triumph: Back to School Year 1
Saturday, January 28, 2017
Thanks to Felicia college is back up and running. Our first set of young adults is about to enter the world since last that Tifiani was here. Jana, Belle, Madison and Mason are about to embark on a journey that no other sim has had the opportunity to embrace since Tifani. Here's hoping it's a 'mostly' positive experience!
Jeremiah was first in line to drop of Jana and Belle. Felicia had passed away while they were sitting in the bin waiting for this day.
Samuel was right behind him, in the same koolaide drinking head gear, to drop off his twins Madison and Mason. Can these cousins make it work between them while they start with nothing but some land and their interesting choices in Young Adult atire.
It was hard but there was some inheritance money to get the basics started. With a few more scholarships and a few more cousins coming in this may just be the awesomest, non Greek, house at the University. I'm building it after all!
This week was interesting and stressful but not overly photogenic. They were all basically miserable. I gave them a bathroom, basic kitchen and beds. It's all they had money for. This house has potential but if they don't keep their grades up they will never see that potential! Right out of the gate, apparently this house didn't meet Belle's 'needs' and she went into aspiration failure in the makeshift kitchen.

Semester 1 down and there were a couple of A's and then a couple of B-'s as well. I should have kept better track of who did what but ya know, it was all I could do to keep them happy! With the influx of money they got a slightly better bathroom, a love seat, and the chess table. Perhaps happiness will increase?
Semester 2 came around and Belle skipped her final because she was so miserable. You know what happens when a lack luster student skills their final? Yeah, Academic Probation. I've NEVER had a sim on Academic Probation, thanks Belle! That sent her into her second aspiration failure, in the filthy bathroom, of her first year of college.
This, thus far, isn't going so well for the first young adults of the Apocalypse! Perhaps next year will be better?
Tifani Triumph: The College Years
Saturday, July 30, 2016
Oh those college years. They were hard enough actually doing them in real life however they have their own sort of drudgery to them in Sims 2. Perhaps due to the fact that I never really was into the whole 'going out and about' both in real life or in game. Perhaps because I always forget to slow down a second and 'smell the roses' so to speak - in game specifically. Poor Tifani is a Popularity Sim who I am bound and determined to have meet and greet as many people as possible now while I have the tools and ability to keep her happy. It is the one area that I am willing to really bend to as I know the restrictions and how hard it will be once the actual Apocalypse happens for her to meet people. I am making a conscious effort not to 'skill' her to the brink in anticipation. I let her spin the want for her major, political science, which will be of no help to her later but so be it. Honestly, didn't even try to talk her out of it. Thought about it the just repeated 'pick your battles' and let it go. Truth be told, none of us know when our own lives will spin out of orbit so why should she be any different. I'm trying valiantly to let her live in the moment. While I know the trials to come she needs to be allowed focus on school, and people.
The hardest part is she so desperately wants to join a sorority which is forbidden, even for the founder pre-apocalypse. Try telling her that! Have you seen the 'why my two year old is throwing a fit photos on Facebook'? Yea, like that only with a pixilated college kid. Rockin', telling ya, not pretty.
Tifani gained a LOT of logic skills making friends. It's a great way to build social and getting happy at the same time. She wrote her term paper every semester, which was at times a whole other battle. And didn't guarantee an A each semester based on how the final time fell in regard to her class time and if she had build enough grade up even with the term paper. Look at my girl hard at work!
However, dear sweet Tifani had to go throw a hiccup in the plan. The plan was that she would enjoy her college years, build some great memories, a little something to carry through the dark times to come. A few friends, a few jokes, a few kisses. Yea, the last one was NOT in the plan. Tifani can't marry until she unlocks a career. (Don't tell her that yet!). But then she met doo rag. I'm sure he has a name but well, doo rag.

Have you seen the 'why my two year old is throwing a fit photos on Facebook'? Yea, like that only with a pixilated college kid. Rockin', telling ya, not pretty.
Tifani: Hey you!Super wasn't happy with me, let me tell ya. But like I said I did let me meet people so it couldn't have been all bad.
Me: Yes dear?
Tifani: I wanna join a Greek house.
Me: Um, no ya don't.
Tifani: Yes, I do.
Me: Sounds boring, no ya don't.
Tifani: Sounds exciting and glamorous with really cool people. Yes I do.
Me: Ok well then um No.
Tifani: YES!
Me: How about you finish you skills for this semester and your term paper and we'll see.

| Term Paper Time! |
Tifani: Hey you.Good Gravy but this child is gonna be the end of me! However, hallelujah dear Tifani graduated with a 3.8 GPA and became a hopefully respectful adult. Once I get her back to the home neighborhood and get her settled into her very restricted Apocalypse Abode I'll be back to share the next adventure as she learns what's actually in store for the next chapter of her life~
Me: Yes dear?
Tifani: I'm ready to take the next step.
Me: You already declared your major. You still have a few semesters until you graduate.
Tifani: I think I'm going to ask Joshua if he wants to get engaged.
Me: (chocking on my Dr Pepper) you want to what?!?
Tifani: I love him. I want to get engaged.
Me: You don't love him.
Tifani: I do. Didn't you see the red hearts.
Me: Doo Rag?
Tifani: His name is Joshua and I love him.
Me: Sweetie you know don't love him, you don't even know what love is yet.
Tifani: I do too love him, hello red hearts! And he loves me! How did you not see the red hearts??
Me: How about you finish you skills for this semester and your term paper and we'll see.
Tifani and Doo Rag flirting over breakfast. Now do those look like red hearts to you?
