I really should have kept this up better. I'm sorry, everyone. This is just a large dump post on all that's happened since we last met with the Stratton's.

We left off last time with Karly pregnant and in labor (again, darn it woman!) That brought the birth of a baby boy, Keenan Lancaster. Keenan is now a teen, yes, it's been that long!

Zachary has aged to elder, Karly hasn't joined him yet. Kaitlynn is going to miss her mom and dad when their time comes, so she's spending any minute she's not working with her children and parents playing games, having family meals, and loading them down with more bonding time than Zachary and Karly ever wanted.

This brings us to our next heir, Kaitlynn and her relationship with Ryker. They both aged to young adult and their relationship progressed quickly from there. They're now married, with three (yes, just when I thought we'd stop with the surprise babies, Kaitlynn followed suit) children.

The first born is a surprise, mainly because it's something I've been waiting on for so long, so we'll get to the heir at the end of this installment. I want you to meet baby number 2 first. Ryland Marcum.

 And then come baby number 3, Gemma Marcum. She's still an infant!

And now, what we've all been waiting for, our heir! Meet our FIRST MALE heir! It took FOUR generations to bring us a male heir, but we DID IT!Meet Connor Marcum

And with our first male heir, brings us to his first friend, and hopefully his wife and mother of his CHILD (yes, Connor, CHILD....please, please don't do what your great-great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother have done and surprise us with extra children). Little Miss Amy Lee.

Just a quick little update on life.
Kaitlynn and Ryker have aged to teen, then became best friends, that relationship evolved to their being in a romantic relationship and getting the coveted first kiss, and Kaitlynn took the leap and gave Ryker that promise to be his forever. 

 Kiera, Ayden, and Stewart all aged to teens and made the decision to move in with Candy (the twins' mother).

 This, along with Kaitlynn and Ryker being so busy, leaves Karly and Zachary with WAY too much time on their hands. They both joined a club together and it has made them very adventurous. I sent them to a club party together and they took it upon themselves to woohoo in a closet (HEY! At least a closet is more private than a bush and it was the two of them and not Zachary with another woman!). That leaves us with a HUGE baby bump and Karly soaking away the pains of labor.

So, here we are again, after a LONG break! So much has happened. Let's start with were we left off. Karly was IN LABOR! Isn't that exciting?
If you were hoping for our very first boy heir, you'll have to wait longer. Sorry. Karly and Zachary welcomed baby girl, Kaitlynn Lancaster.

 Isn't she cute? And, as always, as the heir, Kaitlynn got to assist me in making her the perfect childhood friend turned husband. Little Ryker Markum.

For a while, Karly was performing poorly at work. It took a LOT, but we finally got her promoted to Chief of Staff! Zachary is working his way up in the athletic career. And just when things were running smoothly, again. We met another curve ball.

Kai and Cara both aged to elder, and with her mother knocking on death's door, Karly caught a precious moment with her mom and unborn baby.

And, we have another girl, Kiera Lancaster.

This brings us to another curve ball. Zachary felt the need to woohoo in the bushes, only, his wife wasn't around to satisfy him, so he picked up a random townie.

If this wasn't bad enough, random townie (name: Candy Behr) came to visit the Stratton house, luckily, Karly was at work, but Ms. Behr's appearance was quite shocking.

I wonder what she came over for? We'll not find out, Zachary made her cry and sent her away!
Kai and Cara both passed away, but this Simmer had walked away to bathe a child (and left her Sims to work at their own will, I know, I know...) and missed getting pictures of Cara's last breath.

Shortly after the death of Cara, Zachary got a lovely text message from Ms. Behr, and we now know why she came to visit that wonderful afternoon.

Oh, can you imagine the arguments it caused when Zachary broke the news to Karly? He got the son he always wanted, plus one, but with another woman! Karly was NOT happy. But they made up.

And they had a chat. They decided an unemployed single mother wasn't the best person to raise the twins, and moved them into their home with the children they share together and Kaitlynn's best friend. So, the sweet moment of Karly meeting those boys for the first time. It was love, and while the whole situation is sticky, she couldn't turn them away now.

It seems this family is full of curve balls, we'll find out what else is in store next time, friends......

This is just a quick little update. The last post left us with one founder gone, Karly and Zachary becoming teens and a legit couple, a burning house, and a whole bunch of sobbing sims.
Now, Jude has aged to teen.

Brady met with Grimmy again. But Cara's pleading bought him a second chance.


Karly and Zachary became adults, and GOT MARRIED!
Karly joined the medical career like her grandmother and mother. And I've decided all females, natural born related to the founders AND females that marry into this family will follow the medical career path. Kind of because I REALLY like going to work with my medical sims.
Then it wasn't long before, Grimmy took Brady away for good.
