Moss Generation Challenge: G1 Chapter 1

If you haven't read the introduction to the Moss Family's Generation Challenge. I encourage you to hop over now and take a look

Expectations for Angelica and Ezra as a first generation is as follows

Get married (done)
*Have 2 eligible children for heirs
Become a writer (done)
Marry 2 kids out
Have one enemy and two friends

*it's impossible to have two youngest. Even with twins, one is older and one is younger. This is a flaw in this challenge and I've chosen the following as a substitute:
Complete the Bestselling Author aspiration

So, hopping right in with all the important stuff. I think I'd mentioned that I secured the newlyweds a cute little cottage. It's a secluded little lot near the sea. It's the perfect little place to raise a little family.  As the Maker had let it be known that Ezra and Angelica needed to have a baby...it's already got the cutest little nursery in place too!

Ezra is level 10 in his writing skill so I'm going to secure a job for him right away as a writer. Hopefully he'll make enough money the first couple of days so he can buy a computer. He'll be able to write and bring in some money from royalties so they can afford to try for a baby.

Angelica honestly isn't good at much of anything but she wants to be an artist. It's a good thing that in the sim's world it's less about raw talent and more about just picking up the brush and practicing!

With so little in the bank, I was honestly so reluctant to let Ezra and Angelica woohoo but per my own personal rules, newly wed sims must woohoo on their wedding night.  Here's to hoping that my risky woohoo mod doesn't result in a pregnancy right now because after buying this little lot, they have hardly anything left in the bank.

Baby #1 arrived safe and sound. Unfortunately, auntie Jordan was not on call to deliver little Ashley.

Ezra and Angelica were both heartbroken. They really wanted to share their special day with Jordan.

After a couple days into their lives as parents, Ezra and Angelica decided they'd try for another baby.

Things went really great this time around. Angelica was so sick the first pregnancy but she felt so great with this second pregnancy. She was knocking out a lot of skill points and happened to get two promotions in the artist career.

Ashley grew into a decent looking little girl on the very same day that mom and dad rushed to the hospital to give birth to...Aspen (boy) and Laurel (girl.) Yep, she had twins. I'm sorry, life is a blur and I didn't get pictures of them as babies because...
Jordan missed the birth of the twins.   I know it's possible for a playable sim to be on call when a different playable sim is giving birth. How do I know this? Because one of my other sims, Nostradamus delivered Ashley, Aspen and Laurel. So, with babies home only a couple sim hours, they're trying again.

Ashley and Aspen have grown up into cute children. Honestly, I think they're a bit cuter than their big sister. I wish I could have stopped at them and let cute little Laurel be the heir since I've a feeling she's going to be a real head turner.

Baby Alder was born and Jordan missed the birth...AGAIN.

I was beyond frustrated. I've been trying to get Jordan her promotion since she was in the middle of her adult life and she is now an elder.  I don't feel it is fair that she has had excellent performance since the adult life stage and simply can't get the promotion because she's not been on call.

Ezra and Angelica were discussing the possibility of another baby and even bought a bigger house so they could have room for another child when the unthinkable happened...
Ezra became gravely ill and had to have emergency surgery. Guess who was on call for that?!

With Ezra recovering from surgery and four little ones already underfoot...The Maker made the ultimate decision to use a cheat for Jordan to get her promotion.  She pulled all kinds of strings and made sure that Jordan got the stupid promotion.  The Maker made the executive decision that maybe Jordan is not cut out for delivering babies.   Sure, I cheated at my Legacy but it isn't the Maker's fault that the game doesn't generate pregnant sims with the story progression turned off.

So, things didn't work out quite like I wanted but, with their sweet little brood of Moss babies, Ezra and Angelica are ready to start tackling the challenges!

So, stay tuned! You never really know what kind of mayhem the Maker is going to cause but I guarantee you...mayhem there will be!
